Seems that it is a coming of age ritual for young people to go on a backpacking expedition across Europe. Today we spotted a few backpackers lurking around the monument. They likely were camping nearby in the dumping fields and came to explore the monument and find a place to use the bathroom. In the evening the teens returned as well to smoke a little more weed. Another group of teens found a homeless woman’s stash and proceeded to throw all her belongings around in the bushes.
